Short History
The founder of the clan was Rao Kumpa of Marwar, died , whose fourth son, Rao Mandan Singh, was the original grantee of the estate of Asope. Thakur Raj Singh, who was fourth in descent, was the father of Thakur Nahar Singh (Pirthi Singh), ancestor of Thakur Kani Ram, founder of the Thikana.
